At Hire It Out, Our terms are simple.

Hire It Out, LLC (HireItOut) was created as a place to connect homeowners and contractors. Thank you for visiting us. The following Terms of Service outline your obligations and rights while using HireItOut. You can also view our Privacy Policy to further understand our policies and intended usage of information you provide us.
Acceptance
The web pages available at HireItOut ("Site"), are owned and operated by Hire It Out, LLC ("HireItOut", "We", "Our"). By accessing or using any part of our Site, you ("User") signify that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") whether or not you are a registered user of HireItOut. If you do not agree to all the Terms set forth in this Agreement or our Privacy Policy, please contact us before continuing on the Site.
HireItOut reserves the right to change, modify, add, delete or replace any part of this Agreement at anytime, at our sole discretion, and without further notice. If this Agreement is changed for any reason, those changes will be posted to this page along with the date those changes were made. User is responsible for reviewing and regularly checking this Agreement. Use of the Site following any changes to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site, as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies and obligations in connection with your use of HireItOut.com.
Eligibility
Use of this Site and registration to become a member is void where prohibited. This Site is intended for users age 18 or older. Any registration by, use of, or access to the Site by anyone under the age of 18, is unauthorized, strictly prohibited, and in violation of this Agreement.
User Conduct
User understands and agrees that the Site is available for commercial use and you may be subject to Federal, State and Municipal rules, laws and regulations outside of this Agreement should you not be in compliance with any such rules, laws or regulations.
User agrees to not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by law, this Agreement, or any purpose not reasonably intended by HireItOut.
By using HireItOut, you are to the following rules of conduct:
For Posting Projects
1. Post projects using accurate data and measurements
2. Correct any mistakes in a timely manner and notify any contractors who bid previous to the correction
3. Only request bids from Contractors you believe would be right for your project
4. Answer questions and emails promptly
5. Act in good faith
For Listing Your Company
1. List your company using accurate and straight-forward information
2. Correct any mistakes in a timely manner
3. Only list areas of expertise where you have relevant experience
4. Answer questions and emails promptly
5. Act in good faith
Contractors, be sure to also read the Bid Posting Guidelines.
Account Modification
HireItOut reserves the right to modify your listing for any of the following reasons:
1. Add logos, photos or other general visual effects to enhance the quality of the listing;
2. Correct any spelling or grammatical errors.
3. Any way to enhance the formatting, layout or visual appeal
Account Termination
HireItOut reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership, delete your account, listing and remove any content or information that you have posted on the Site at our sole discretion, without notice, liability or refund. Any violation of this Agreement may result in such termination or suspension, although HireItOut is not obligated to disclose reasons for termination. HireItOut will likely give a warning once this Agreement is breached by a User, although, HireItOut does not guarantee a warning will be issued and each circumstance will be determined on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to terminate your account, you may discontinue using the Site, in which case all conditions in this Agreement shall continue to be enforceable.
Contractor Content
As a resgistered Contractor at HireItOut you may list your company information, logo, photos and other relevant documentation. When posting or uploading such content, User (Contractor) represent and warrant that: User owns or has the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize HireItOut to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all User Content to enable inclusion and use of this Content in the manner consistent with HireItOut and this Agreement.
You understand and agree that HireItOut may, but is not obligation to, review the Site and modify, change, moderate, delete (with or without notice) any User Content in its sole discretion, for any reason, including without limitation User Content that in the sole judgment of HireItOut is in violation of this Agreement.
When you post User Content to the Site, you authorize HireItOut to make such copies thereof as we deem necessary in order to facilitate the posting and storage of the User Content on the Site. By posting User Content to any part of the Site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to HireItOut an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, publicly perform, display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or part), stream, store, retain, transmit, scan, modify, edit, adapt and distribute such User Content for any purpose on or in connection with the Site or the promotion thereof, to prepare derative works of, or incorporate into other works, such User Content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. If HireItOut chooses to remove your User Content, the license granted above will automatically expire; however, you acknowledge that HireItOut may retain copies of your Content.
Your Use of the Site
All content of HireItOut, including withouth limitation, User Content, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein, are owned by or licensed to Hire It Out, LLC and subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the law of the United States. All User Content on the Site is provided to you as is for your information and personal use only and may not be reproduced, displayed, copied, distributed, sold, licensed or scraped for any reason whatsoever without the prior express written consent of Hire It Out, LLC. HireItOut reserves all rights not expressly granted in and to the Site and all Content on it.
Disclaimers
The Content on the Site is provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis, without any warranties whether express, implied, or statutory. Such warranties include, but are not limited to warranties of title, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement of proprietary or third party rights.
We do not make any warranties (aside from Trusted Contractors), nor do we endorse, support or guarantee the truthfullness, accuracy, completeness or reliability of any content on the Site. We do not make any warranties that content on the site is free of errors or mistakes.
WE ATTEMPT TO MAINTAIN THE MOST ACCURATE AND HONEST INFORMATION ON OUR CONTRACTOR LISTINGS, BIDS AND HOMEOWNER PROJECTS, THEIR COMPLIANCE CANNOT BE GUARANTEED, YET IT IS REQUIRED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REMEDY ANY LISTING, BID OR PROJECT NOT IN COMPLIANCE.
We cannot monitor all content on the Site, and therefore you release HireItOut from the obligation to monitor any content on the Site. In addition, if you find any inaccurate, misleading or factually inconsistent information, we urge you to contact us immediately.
We do not warrant that the Site will operate error free and that access to the Site will not be interrupted or that the Site or our servers are free from malicious virusrs, computer code or harmful software.
Limitation of Liability
User expressly understands that in no event shall HireItOut or its officers, directors, employees, agents, or suppliers be liable to you under contract, tort, strict liability, negligence or other legal theory with respect to the site or any content for any lost profits or special, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever resulting from: i) your access to and use, or inability to use the Site; ii) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers; iv) any software bugs, viruses, trojan horses or other malicious computer code which may be transmitted to or through our website by any third party. The foregoing Limitation of Liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consquential damages. Therefore, some of the above limitations may not apply.
User and HireItOut agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim, dispute, or cause of action related to this Agreement must be files within one (1) year after such claim, dispute, or cause of action occurred or it will be permanently barred.
Links
The Site or third parties may provide links to external websites or resources. Such thrid parties are not investigated, monitored, checkd for accuracy, appropriateness, offensiveness or reliability by us. HireItOut has not control over such websites and resources and therefore you acknowledge and agree that HireItOut is not responsible for the availability, the content, advertising, products, services and other materials on such websites or resources.
Indemnity
User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HireItOut, its subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees, affiliates, licensors, and partners from any liability, damage, costs and expenses including attorney's fee's, debt, claims, obligations and losses arising from: i) your use or access to the site; ii) violation of any conditions set forth in this Agreement by you or any third party using your account; iii) infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity, by you or any thrid party using your account. This indemnification obligation will survivie this Agreement and your use of the Site.
Jurisdiction
The Site is controlled, operated and offered to you from its facilities in the United States of America. HireItOut makes no representations that is available for use in other locations. By accessing the Site, you agree to that laws of the State of Michigan will govern these Terms and any dispute, claims or causes of action that may arise between you and HireItOUt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, shall be brought exclusively brfore a court of competent jurisdiction located in Oakland County, Michigan. If you access the Site from any location outside the United States of America, you are responsible for your compliance with the laws of that jurisdiction.
